Where are you based, and what areas do you serve?

We are based in the Jefferson Manor neighborhood of Alexandria, VA near Huntington Metro!

We currently serve Alexandria and Arlington, but we are currently only taking new clients within 5 minutes of Huntington, Groveton, Belle Haven, and Old Town.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, and yes!
Where does my overnight sitting take place?

All overnight sittings take place in your home.

 

While we have offered boarding services in the past, our personal furry family has expanded and for the happiness and well being of our own pets, we no longer offer this service. Rest assured, even if you have boarded your pup with us before, as long as you live within our radius, we would be happy to have a sitter stay in your home for your next sitting. 

How should I communicate with my sitter when they’re with my pets?
All communication during your sitting is done via standard text message group chat with Katie and your sitter.

Will I be able to receive updates and pictures while I’m out of town?
YES! We love sending photos and updates, and even videos too! Before your sitting, we will chat with you about your preference for how often you’d like to receive updates.
How far in advance do you recommend booking my sitting?
Because we are a smaller company, sittings are all first come, first served. With that being said, we recommend booking as far out as possible, especially for overnight sittings or drop-in visits longer than 2 hours. As soon as you know you’ll be booking a trip, let us know. We can even pencil you in as tentative if you’re still in the planning stages of a trip but haven’t made definite arrangements. Just as a tip—holidays tend to book up fast. We’ve even had clients plan a year in advance for Christmas sittings and 4th of July!
Are there any discounts or promotions available?
Our “Re-FUR-al program” gives you $25 towards your next sitting for every new client you send us who books $100 worth of services or more!
How much do meet and greets cost?
Initial meet and greets cost nothing! If you have a pet who might need more than one meeting to feel comfortable, additional meet and greets will be charged as a drop-in visit (starting at $25).
Do you care for pets who aren’t dogs or cats?
Yes! We provide care for birds, fish, and bunnies as well! If you have a different type of pet that isn’t listed, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate them. Unfortunately, we do not offer care for horses or livestock.
